Sponja Deal Connector

The Sponja Deal Connector lets a buyer ask questions about a specific sales deal and get answers drawn only from the materials the seller shared for that deal. You add it to your own assistant, such as Claude, and ask in plain language. Every answer is grounded in the seller's documents and cites its source.

What it is

After a sales call, the seller's rep gathers the documents for your deal, such as the pricing proposal, the demo recording, an ROI model, and a security overview. The connector reads only those materials when it answers, so you get the specifics of your deal rather than a generic guess about the product.

What you can ask

The connector exposes four read-only tools that your assistant calls for you:

• Ask about my deal: answers questions specific to your deal, quote, or sales call from the documents the rep uploaded.
• Ask a general question: answers general questions about how the product works from the seller's shared knowledge base.
• List my documents: shows which materials are available for your deal.
• Get my deal summary: returns the headline terms the rep recorded, such as plan, price, seats, and key dates.

Example questions you might ask:

• What is my price per seat, and what discount did we agree on the call?
• What did the rep say about how the product connects to Salesforce?
• Is the product SOC 2 compliant, and how is our data encrypted?
• What documents do you have for my deal?

How to connect

1. Your rep sends you a secure connect link.
2. Open the link and verify your email with a one-time code. This binds your email to your deal, so you do not need a separate account.
3. In your assistant, add a custom connector and paste the server URL: https://app.sponja.ai/api/mcp
4. Sign in when prompted. Your assistant connects over OAuth 2.1.
5. Ask your first question.

You can reuse the same connector for future deals with the same seller. New deals attach to your verified email automatically, with no reinstall.

How answers work

The connector retrieves passages from your deal's materials and returns them to your assistant with a source label. Your assistant composes the answer and cites the source. If nothing relevant is found, the connector says the topic is not covered and offers to flag it for your rep, rather than guessing. It does not use the assistant's general training to make claims about the deal.

Privacy and data

The questions you ask are answered from the seller's materials and are also shared with your rep at the seller, so they can follow up with you. Connections are encrypted in transit. Troubleshooting

• The connector says your deal has no materials yet: your rep may still be uploading them. Try again shortly, or ask your rep.
• You cannot sign in: make sure you open the connect link and verify the email your rep used. If the link has expired, ask your rep to send a new one.
• An answer says a topic is not covered: the materials for your deal do not include it. Ask the connector to flag it for your rep.
